Great Website; a goldmine for bets against shiv haters. Here's a stat you may
have missed. At least until recently, I believe Shiv was the only test batsman
with over 100 test matches who was never out stumped in a test match

Shivnarine Chanderpaul has proven again and again how great he
is--CONGRATULATIONS SHIV--GOD BLESS.

A lot of cricket is about posturing, nepotism, politics, favouritism, snobbery,
the status quo. King Shiv is the purest of sportsmen, someone who lives for his
game, someone who has defeated all the negativity that exists within the game of
cricket- yesterday, today and tomorrow. Please God, take him beyond 10,000 Test
runs.
Cliff Powell  - Will Shiv Join The 10K Club ?   |2010-03-27 16:31:05
Only 5 batsmen in history have scored 10,000 runs in both Tests and
Onedayers.

1. Sachin Tendulkar

2. Brian Lara

3. Ricky Ponting

4.
Rahul Dravid

5. Jack Kallis

Shiv has scored 8669 runs in Tests and 8390
runs in onedayers.

So Shiv needs to score 1131 runs in tests and 1610 runs in
onedayers to join the exclucive 10K club.

Good luck to Shiv. Looks like he
is 2 years away from joining the 10K club in both tests and onedayers.
